In 2009, Saket Gyanpeeth, a prominent educational trust based in Kalyan, Maharashtra, expanded its academic portfolio by establishing the Pramod Ram Ujagar Tiwari Saket Institute of Management (PRUTSIM). This initiative marked the trust's foray into the realm of management education, aiming to provide quality postgraduate programs in business administration.
PRUTSIM offers a two-year full-time Master of Management Studies (M.M.S.) program, which is equivalent to an MBA. This program is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and has received approvals from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra, under the code MB 3158.
Initially, the institute had an intake capacity of 60 students. However, in the academic year 2010-11, PRUTSIM obtained approval from AICTE to increase its intake to 120 students, accommodating the growing demand for management education. Through its commitment to academic excellence and social responsibility, PRUTSIM continues to contribute significantly to the field of management education in the region.
